Two key priorities for DTE Energy are community involvement and energy efficiency customer education, so when DTE can combine both efforts it’s a big deal. WE DTE is happy to rant about the fact that this occurred recently.
On Oct. 18, DTE Energy employees visited the Gleaner’s facility in Detroit. Employees helped package free CFLs and information about DTE’s Test and Tune-Up Program, which provides free furnace tune-ups to low-income applicants. The goal of DTE’s Food Bank CFL Distribution Program is to distribute approximately 140,000 CFL bulbs. For more information about DTE’s Energy Efficiency Programs, visit dteenergy.com/saveenergy.
